Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Game 4 Betting Preview

Series Recap and Pregame Analysis: Celtics vs. 76ers

The Celtics took a 2-1 lead in the series, winning Game 3 at Wells Fargo Center. Boston won a second straight game for just the second time this postseason (Games 1 and 2 against Atlanta). Jayson Tatum led all players with 27 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Malcolm Brogdon was the surprising leader with six assists, and he and Al Horford hit timely 3-pointers. Also, Jaylen Brown survived five fouls and had some very impressive plays.

Now, let’s take a look at the next game. If you look at the Game 4 odds below, you will see some very familiar odds. They are almost exactly the same as Game 3. If Horford is hitting more shots like these, then it might be another Celtics victory in the next game in Philly:

Picks and Predictions for the Celtics vs. 76ers

Celtics -2.5 (-110)
In the 2023 NBA postseason, the Celtics have been mostly the title favorite, with the exception of the beginning of the playoffs when the Bucks were in the top slot. Boston has kept playing very well for the majority of the postseason, and with Joel Embiid having to play on relatively short rest in Game 4, will he be ready to step up his game?

Embiid had a decent game for him in Game 3, but it was James Harden who struggled in the contest. It was very difficult for him, as he missed a lot of shots. It is important for Boston to continue to stifle Harden. Can the Celtics have a duplicate performance in Game 4?

Final Game Prediction, Celtics vs. 76ers

Celtics -2.5 again
