The full NFL schedule was released last night on NFL Network. We’ve known each team’s opponents since the 2022 season ended but now we know the order. We also have game lines and totals available. We are still 118 days from the start of the season but the best line value is usually once the lines get released. The deeper we get into the offseason the more sportsbooks get to look at lines and adjust them. We are going to take a look at some early week 1 bets to make after the NFL schedule release. The Chargers have the 12th most difficult schedule in 2023. On the surface, it doesn’t appear that way. They begin the season with home games against the Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders. At the end of the season, they have two home games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. The Chargers are expected to finish second in the AFC West at this point. They are known for having a lackluster home-field advantage so that will always be something going against them. Even with that, they have a good enough roster to be able to get through this schedule.

The Los Angeles Chargers open the 2023 season at home against the Miami Dolphins. These teams met in 2022 and the Chargers won that matchup 23-17 in Los Angeles. They will meet again in LA for a matchup against the 5th and 6th picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Both teams got better in the offseason, the Dolphins added cornerback Jalen Ramsey in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Chargers drafted wide receiver Quentin Johnston in the first round. With two high-scoring offenses that love throwing it around this looks to be one of the highest-scoring games in week 1.

Los Angeles Rams bets to make after the NFL schedule release
Rams Schedule Overview
The Rams have the ninth most difficult schedule in 2023. They open with the Seahawks, 49ers, and Bengals. Three teams that made the playoffs in 2022 including two teams that were in the conference championship game. The Rams have historically struggled against the 49ers so chances are they get off to a slow start.

They close the season with back-to-back road games at the New York Giants and the 49ers. Their schedule never really gives them any breaks. Even with better injury luck it will be a difficult schedule to manage in 2023.

The Los Angeles Rams open the 2023 season up against the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams have had success against the Seahawks in the Sean Mcvay era but they were swept by the Hawks in 2022. The Rams were the most injury-prone team in the league, neither Matthew Stafford nor Cooper Kupp played against the Seahawks in 2022. They will both be back for this matchup along with Aaron Donald. Jalen Ramsey won’t be back for it since he was traded during the offseason. He and DK Metcalf had some legendary matchups that will be missed when this rivalry starts back up in week 1.
