Lakers-Warriors Game 6 Betting Preview: Closing Time

It’s Lakers-Warriors Game 6. It’s Stephen Curry and LeBron James. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco.

What a dream matchup this series has been, and it’s unfortunate that it’s going to end tonight.

Let’s break down the best odds ahead of Game 6.

All odds, lines, and spreads are provided courtesy of BetMGM.

Best Picks for Lakers-Warriors Game 6

Lakers -3.5, -105

The bold claim of this game has already been made: The Lakers are going to close out the series on their home court.

This is no guarantee, but that’s what we’re rolling with.

Anthony Davis’ health is a concern, but he didn’t seem to take THAT hard of a hit to really affect his play.

The Lakers’ key to winning this game is to get Davis back in the paint.

He has been getting exposed in the high pick-and-rolls, and it’s neutralizing the Lakers’ interior defense.

Offensively, someone needs to step up.

Last series, it was D’Angelo Russell in Game 6..

Anthony Davis has had a few standout games, and there was obviously the Lonnie Walker IV game, but no one has taken over for the Lakers throughout this series.

Their depth is fantastic, but they need a superstar, a self-proclaimed “GOAT”, The Chosen One, to finally step up and TAKE OVER like we’ve all been waiting for.

Under 220.5, -115

This is going to be a dog fight.

An offensive outburst by either team wouldn’t necessarily be surprising, but the Lakers have played phenomenally at home these playoffs.

And their strength is defense.

They also haven’t proven to be a consistent high-scoring team, so take the under in a bruisingly physical game.

D’Angelo Russell OVER 15.5 Points, -105

Russell was the guy in Game 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies, and we predicted it.

However, he hasn’t played his best ball in this series.

But it’s time.

Russell is such a streaky scorer, and if the law of averages tells us anything, he’s due for a breakout performance once again.

Russell has a chance to cement himself as a Lakers Playoff legend if he can go off in another Game 6 to finally take down the Golden State Warriors.

A lot needs to happen for this parlay to hit, but it’s a pretty safe bet.

Curry, surprisingly, has only scored over 29 points in ONE game this series.

He has also made 3+ threes in every game of the series. However, it is worth noting that he’s a combined 6/25 from deep over the last two games.

Wiggins has only gone under 4 rebounds once in this playoff stretch, and it was in his first game back after missing over two months of action. This is a safe bet.

And it all comes down to the Lakers moneyline.

If they don’t close this series out at home and have to head back to The Bay for a Game 7, the future of the season is bleak.

And they know this.

Lakers in 6.
