Mile High Betting Parlay: Rockies and Rapids Host Philadelphia

There is some fun available this Saturday in the Mile High, as both the Colorado Rockies and Colorado Rapids will face off with Philadelphia-based teams (Phillies/Union). These are always fun to come across, and both squads have a chance of coming through Saturday night.

Colorado Teams host Philadelphia with a Parlay to Play!

Philadelphia Phillies (-145) vs Colorado Rockies (+120)

The Rockies have turned things around this month, sweeping Milwaukee to open May, then winning both of their series with New York and Pittsburgh on the road. They were even neck and neck with the Phillies in game one last night, knotting things late in the bottom of the seventh.

After coming up short last night at Coors, the Rockies will look to bounce back this evening.

Colorado comes into game two with an advantage on the mound as they will be sending their most reliable arm in Ryan Feltner (2-2, 5.08 ERA) to the hill, while Philly will trot out Ranger Suarez (0-0, 0.00). The Park Ranger was steady last season, but Saturday night will mark his first start of the season. Feltner has improved a tough opening to the season, and he even struck out six in 5.2 inning pitched in a start in Philadelphia last month.

Coors Field isn’t the ideal place for a low-strikeout rate pitcher to make his season debut, so the Rockies have a real chance of winning this ball game, with nice value attached to them. The total is absurd, but it could wind up being a spot on projection. I like spotting the Rockies the runs here at home in what could be another close finish.

Pick: Colorado Rockies +1.5 (-115)

Colorado Rapids (+125) vs Philadelphia Union (+200)

The other half of our Mile High Parlay features a tie-happy Colorado Rapids team welcome the Philadelphia Union to Commerce City Saturday night.

The Rapids were successful in California this past week, defeating the LA Galaxy by two last Saturday, before advancing to the Round of 16 at the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open with a two-goal victory over Sacramento.

The Rapids are playing good ball right now, and they haven’t been defeated since a St. Patrick’s Day matchup with Minnesota. I like the momentum they’ve built over the past month of action, and I think they’re worth a look at home for some fun this weekend. Colorado does lead the MLS in draws, so that is worth keeping your eye on. Take the double chance or tie no bet for more security, but role with the Rapids ML here Saturday.

Pick: Colorado Rapids ML (+125)

The Rockies are at Coors, while the Rapids are at home as well. Our first Mile High Parlay has a good chance of coming through, best odds may serve on FanDuel or DraftKings. Let’s have some fun this weekend.
