Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat: Game 3 Betting Preview

Series Recap and Pregame Analysis: Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

The Celtics could not do anything down the stretch of Game 1 or Game 2 in Boston. They hope that a scenery change to Miami and the Kaseya Center will do wonders for them.

Jimmy Butler has been clutch while the Celtics have not been. Gabe Vincent also hit a big shot while it was only Grant Williams on the offensive side for Boston at the end of Game 2. Can Boston make a step in the right direction during clutch time in Game 3? It will not be easy, as Boston needs a way to defend Butler.

Jayson Tatum had the following to say about how it is important to help Grant Williams when he is guarding Butler: We just can’t leave guys on the island. We got to show more of a presence, be long, and help.”

The Celtics need something to go their way, and they have been a juggernaut on the road in the last two postseasons. Can they continue their success away from home? It will not be easy against a Miami team that seems to know how to stop Boston’s offense. Joe Mazzulla will need to pull the right strings, and it may be starting Grant Williams or Derrick White instead of Rob Williams III. We will have to see.

Picks and Predictions for the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

Boston Celtics ML (-175)

Well, the Celtics have not made it easy on themselves in the 2023 NBA postseason. However, this is the biggest hole that they will be trying to get out of in a while. This situation could be reminiscent of the Celtics and Bulls series when Isiah Thomas and the green took down Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. Boston was down, 2-0, in the first-round series, and the Celtics then won four games in a row. Game 3 will be the first step for Boston in the green’s attempt to make a comeback in the series.
