The NFL schedule was released almost three weeks ago. We went through some of the wagers that needed to be placed after the scheduled release day. With it still being May it is still very early in the NFL offseason. OTA’s are going on now and with mandatory mini-camp coming in June we will start to get an idea as to what these teams look like heading into the 2023 season. Still with four months to go until the opening day there is plenty of value in these team prop bets. Specifically, the AFC West is filled with prop bets that should be tackled now. Regular Season Wins
Regular Season Wins – Kansas City Chiefs
Over 11.5 -125 Under 11.5 +105
The reining Super Bowl Champions are entering the 2023 season as the favorites to win the division once again. In five seasons with Patrick Mahomes the Kansas City Chiefs average 12.8 wins per season. The one season they finished under 11.5 Mahomes missed two games due to injury. Some would go against the over due to the possibility of a Super Bowl hangover. After winning the Superbowl in the 2019 season the Chiefs went 14-1 with Mahomes as the starting quarterback. Taking the under you are rooting for a Patrick Mahomes injury.
Best Bet: Over 11.5 wins
Regular Season Wins – Denver Broncos
Over 8.5 +105 Under 8.5 -125
The Denver Broncos finished the 2022 season with a disappointing 5-12 record. Russell Wilson had his worst year as a starter and the Broncos fired Nathaniel Hackett in his first year as a NFL head coach. Wilson claims he is entering this season in the best shape of his life.
Russell Wilson is ready for Year 2 in Denver.

The Broncos hired future hall of fame head coach Sean Payton, he is a huge upgrade from Hackett. The Broncos should be much improved in 2023 but so should a good amount of teams in the AFC. Getting to nine wins will be a uphill battle for the Broncos.
Best Bet: Under 8.5 wins
Regular Season Wins – Los Angeles Chargers
Over 9.5 -130 Under 9.5 +110
Los Angeles Chargers to make the playoffs
Yes -105 No -115
The Los Angeles Chargers had a up and down season in 2022 and still finished 10-7. Justin Herbert had his worst NFL season after dealing with a rib injury for most of the year. The Chargers are known for collapsing at the end of seasons as they did in the Wildcard Round this past postseason. They may collapse at the end of the season again but 10 wins and another playoff appearance are good possibilities. Getting them at almost plus money to make the playoffs is tremendous value, it will only get worse from here on out.
Best Bet: Over 9.5 wins, Make the playoffs
Regular Season Wins – Las Vegas Raiders
Over 7.5 +125 Under 7.5 -150
The Las Vegas Raiders finished third in the AFC West in 2022. In the offseason they lost Derek Carr and Darren Waller both to trades. In the NFL Draft they drafted pass rusher Tyree Wilson who is talented but isn’t quite ready to be a consistent pass rusher. The Raiders were a bottom three defense in 2022. New Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garopollo isnt healthy for OTA’s and his status for training camp is in question as well. There is even talk of the Raiders possibly releasing Garopollo due to a clause in his contract.
The key waiver in Jimmy Garoppolo's Raiders contract — Addendum G — somehow remained hidden for more than two months. https://t.co/2z2eB25TSi

The Raiders have issues on both sides of the ball entering 2023. Head Coach Josh McDaniels has only surpassed 8 wins one time in three seasons as a Head Coach.
Best Bet: Under 7.5 wins
