The Padres have a 56% to win outright, while the Orioles have a 64% chance to cover the +1.5 run line. The over in this one has a 53% chance of hitting. The over has hit in five of the O’s last five games against the Padres on the road.

Orioles vs. Padres Game Prediction

This Orioles team has played well all year, and the Padres have been a major disappointment. San Diego has struggled offensively despite being loaded with players who can produce at the plate. It baffles me how a team that has Soto, Machado, Tatis Jr., and Bogaerts isn’t ranked in the top five offensively. The young guns on this Orioles team have a tough matchup with Darvish toeing the slab, but they will be able to score a few. The Padres have a favorable matchup with Rodriguez pitching and should have no problems running up the score. I am going with my gut in this one and rolling with Padres to cover the run line and take a 1-0 series lead at home.
